Dedicated to finding the perfect home for every homeless Airedale

REX

ANNIE

Rex (4 yrs.) was returned to Rescue because his first adoptive parents were getting divorced and moving into smaller places. The good news for us was that Rex was completely trained and knew house rules. Rex likes to sleep on the sofa and to sit in the front seat when going for rides in the car. He is gentle, wise and affectionate.

Annie’s previous owner had kept her chained up outside. She did surprisingly well adapting to our house considering her lack of experience with such things. Although we had a crate ready, we never needed it for either dog. Annie likes to sleep on her back and to harass her brother Rex. Annie (2 yrs.) is spirited, inquisitive and loving.

Rex and Annie took to each other instantly and settled into their new home very quickly. After only a few days of having both dogs, our neighbor said, “It’s like you’ve always had them.” They love to run, chase, wrestle, growl and pounce. They love to play “tug o war”, “hide and seek” and to go for walks and car rides. We have so much fun with them.

It had been a year since our first Airedale passed away when we got Rex and Annie. Their happy bouncy outlook on life is truly wonderful to watch. They are also great companions to their new humans. We would like to thank all of the people at SouthWest Airedale Terrier Rescue and especially to Rose McAuliffe for bringing us these 2 special creatures.
