Dedicated to finding the perfect home for every homeless Airedale

BILLY & KELLY

Nine-year-old Billy was dumped at the local shelter after he dared to go to the bathroom in the wrong part of the yard. He was an outdoor dog all his life, although they did let him sleep in a storage shed on the coldest nights. Ten-year-Kelly was a much-loved and well cared for girl all her life until her owner had to go into nursing care. Billy is a happy-go-lucky love-everybody kind of guy without an ounce of aggression in him. Kelly is more choosy about her four-footed companions and especially dislikes small dogs and c*ts.

Chuck & Patricia had never owned Airedales, but were long-time owners of large dogs. A friend's stories about her Airedale from Southwest Airedale Rescue made them think that an Airedale might be just the breed for them and it has turned out to be true.

Billy is content to let Kelly be the Queen Bee and the whole family enjoys their twice daily walks (always keeping an eye out for small dogs or c*ts.).
