We could not have wished for a better dog and companion than Spencer. He fit in immediately and has become best friends with Holly, our son's deaf Cattle dog. It only took a day or two for him to become integrated into the household. It is almost spooky how quickly he learns. Spencer has become Holly's "ears". She watches him and when he hears something, she reacts as though she heard it. It is times like this that we realize that God has a purpose.

He is most attached to his tennis ball...his favorite toy. It was "missing" for a few days (in the back yard), and he was very excited when we found it. He has selected the sofa at the end of our bed as his bed of choice at night. He just took it over and now sleeps there every night.
