SARA
Sara was turned over to Southwest Airedale Terrier Rescue by the local Humane Society,
which could not afford to fix her broken leg. Thanks to the National Airedale Rescue treasury and many individual
donors, we were able to have her leg fixed and found her the perfect forever home. She and her new family have moved to
Michigan, but stay in touch.
Sara is doing very well. She completed her
obedience classes with very high marks and we have her signed up for
advanced training starting in May. Snow is about gone. We are to be in the
60's today for the first time. I miss AZ. though and know that you have had
a strange winter also.
Her leg seems to be good. She limps sometimes in the morning
after sleeping. She goes up and down our stairs looking for "mousies" about
ten times a day. We had to take her to the Vet because she ate a chipmunk
and acted shaky and was vomiting. Del found the remains in the yard the
following day.
Love, Del, Jane and
Sara.
