Christmas 2007
We do a neighborhood Luminaria lighting on Xmas eve and everyone brings their pets
along for the candle lighting. At our house, it's turned into a social gathering for friends
and their pets.
Wasn't sure how well it would work as Chewy knew 3 of the dogs but Migs had never met any of them,
and 2 were strangers to Chewy. We did meet and greet in the driveway with each dog separately and then
took them in the yard and then let them loose in the house.
We had Chewy and Migs, 3 Havanese, 1 labradoodle and 1 Maltese. This was the
first time Migs has had a whole bunch of strangers in to play and after first trying to figure
out what those small things in dresses were, she had a great time and you could see her actually
trying to pull up to avoid trampling the small guys. She and the doodle really played and played
hard with each other so a good time was had by all.
Everyone got along well and all we had to do was keep our wine glasses in our hands and out of the way of charging dogs.
