LADY
Lady is a big (70 lb.) beautiful, healthy girl of about 8 years, who
ended up in the local shelter after her owner died. Lady's previous life was quite turbulent and
she had received rough treatment from strangers, causing her to be very wary of anyone she didn't know or suspected might want to hurt her.
In fact, her motto was:
The best defense is a good offense.
Luckily, even for Lady, there was the perfect, patient family willing to give her the time she needed to settle in.
Lady now has a little Airedale brother, Dakota, who makes her forget that she's a mature dignified Lady.
Lady is still doing very well. She is such a lover. She and Dakota play all the time, in the house or outside.
In the house is kind of dangerous because they play like they're fighting.
I hope they're playing anyway.
