SOUTHWEST AIREDALE TERRIER RESCUE PRE-ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We place Airedales in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. We also assist Airedale Rescue volunteers in California by forwarding applications to them. If you live in another state, please check the National Airedale Rescue website for the volunteer in your area.

You will need about half an hour without interruptions to complete the questionnaire.

We will be asking you about

  • your preferences as to male or female and age;
  • your experience with dogs in general, and Airedales in particular;
  • your current family members -- two-legged and four-legged;
  • your house and yard;
  • the kind of exercise, training and attention you will provide the Airedale;
  • the name, address and telephone number for any veterinarians you have used in the last five years, or two other references if you do not have that information.
It will make it easier to complete the form if you get the information together on vets, trainers and other references before you start on the questionnaire. If you are willing to put in the work, it will give us a good idea of the type of dog you are looking for and whether we might have one that would be a match for your family.

After we have reviewed your questionnaire, if we think there is a good possibility we will be able to match a rescued Airedale with your family, a home visit will be scheduled.

Most of our volunteers have full time jobs, as well as families and their own dogs, so some patience on your part will be required as we work through the process.
