SOUTHWEST AIREDALE TERRIER RESCUE PRE-ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE

We place Airedales in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. We also assist Airedale Rescue volunteers in California by forwarding applications to them. If you live in another state, please check the National Airedale Rescue website for the volunteer in your area.

You will need about half an hour without interruptions to complete the questionnaire. Just as each Airedale has its own unique needs, each family has its own unique needs. Some of our Airedales need to be only dogs; some get along with big dogs, but not small dogs; some of our Airedales need obedience training; some are already well mannered; some of our Airedales are too rough for small children; some of them adore children; some need a person in the home most of the time; some are fine in a working home. We have a very good record of placing our fostered Airedales in their forever home the first time by doing our best to match the personality of the Airedale to the personality of the home.

We will be asking you about

  • your preferences as to male or female and age;
  • your current family members -- two-legged and four-legged;
  • your house and yard;
  • the kind of exercise, training and attention you will provide the Airedale;
  • the name, address and telephone number for any veterinarians you have used in the last five years.
