Pascale and Ruger. |
I'm no quilting pro; the 2002 HAL quilt was my
first attempt at a block. I really enjoyed creating it and I can now
appreciate all the work that goes into the quilts, it takes weeks just to
make the one block!
I'm originally
from Montreal Quebec and now live on a 24-acre ranch in Whitehorse Yukon
Canada, with my husband Colin, daughter Shelby, 3 dogs & a cat. I work
full time for the Yukon Government and I opened Airecutz Dog Grooming in
January 2001, I groom mostly on Saturdays.
My husband always wanted an Airedale
Terrier. We prepared for the dog, years before buying our first home we
read every book and contacted practically every Airedale breeder in Canada
in order to be ready to receive the little rascal when we would finally
buy our house. We bought a house in 1998 and a couple of month later we
had our first Airedale, Shawndee's King of the Klondike (Ruger). We waited
2 years to get the second Airedale, we wanted our first dog to be obedient
and mature enough before getting another dog (yeah right! LOL).

Then In
2000 Shawndee's Judicious Belladonna (Bella) arrived. In August of 2001 we
adopted a cat (Lucy), and September 2002 we adopted a mix (Clancy) both
Lucy & Clancy came from the Yukon humane society.
I am the regional contact for AireCanada,
Airedale Terrier Rescue Network. Our family is also members of the Airedale Terrier club of Canada and
The High Altitude Airedale Terrier Club of Alberta. I am the Vice-President
Whitehorse Woofers Club were I participate in agility & obedience. |

My living room scene was a lot of fun to
create.
I'd like to give a big thank you to Ann Curran
for letting me use some of her characters. Two
of the dogs in the living room are mine, Ruger is
sitting on the couch with his mouth open I think
he's making those "aroowoowoo" noises of
protest and Bella is jumping to see who's outside
the window. The other Airedales are friends. |
