"Annette's House"

This is a small example of what Karen does on the quilt's. Christie Williams sent the quilt top to Karen, along with patterns and fabric for the 2 dogs, clumps of leaves for a tree, and directions of where to put them, along with directions of where to embroidery some carrots.  First, Karen removed the stabilizer from the back of the quilt top, then she appliquéd the 2 additional dogs and clumps of leaves, and finally she embroidered the carrots.  The dogs and bunches of leaves on the tree that Karen added were done by hand-appliqué, and the carrots were embroidered.

Carrots were added to "Annette's House" to give it more detail.

Notice the carrot in the tree house.

Clumps of leaves were added to make fuller trees.

Karen added a kite sting.

Notice the Airedale entering the dining room from the living room. Also, there is another carrot under the dining room table.

What does that Airedale on the roof have in it's mouth? You are right if you said it was another one of Karen's carrots.

Here Karen added another Airedale behind the Doggy Day Care van.
