We live in Vero Beach, Florida and we love to take our Airedales to the beach! Chester loves to wade in the ocean, but, April can't stand to get her paws wet. She does, however, like to dig several feet deep into the sand and stick her face and torso down into the sandholes. I'm not sure what the attraction is, whether she's trying to be an Ostrich and stick her head in the sand. Maybe she wants to keep cool, smelling the scents in the sand, or trying to dig under the ocean. Maybe she wants to go to Europe. Maybe she wants to be "April in Paris" (1953 film). Hee. Hee. Whatever the attraction, it just cracks me up!

Artist's Bio:

I live in Vero Beach, Florida and in New York City. We have 2 airedales who add so very much to our lives. I am a fairly new quilter. Last year, I decided I wanted to make a square for the Rescue quilt, so I took a class and bought a sewing machine. I am happy to be able to help raise money for our Airedales in need. I work as an actress primarily in Broadway musicals and television commercials. My next show (if contract negotiations pan out) is "The Sweet Smell of Success" starring John Lithgow. We open February, 2002.
