Harry's Story |
||
|
Poor Harry has been through several families, the most recent of which let him get terribly obese, which no doubt was the major reason he tore his anterior cruciate ligament. While in rescue, he has lost 20 lbs. (another 10 to go) and has had his ACL repaired. Harry is just one of the wonderful Airedales rescued in Oklahoma in the last twelve months. The others include Annie (10), Bentley (3), Bobbi (9 months), Ceasar (8), Chance (18 months), Della (3), Eli (3), Fiona (1), Gracie (9 months), Jack (3), Leo (8), Lola (1), Lucky (5), Maddie (1), Maggie Mae (4 months), Nikki (5), Skeeter (11) and Sunny (11). The cost for their veterinary care and boarding has been in excess of $25,000. Harry’s surgery alone cost $1,200. We can't do it alone. Please help us to help them. Oklahoma Airedale Rescue expenses are supported by National Airedale Rescue, Inc., a 501C3 nonprofit organization run exclusively by volunteers. Donations are tax deductible |
