1 17 oz can sweet black cherries 1 8 oz can crushed pineapple in its own juice (as opposed to someone else's juice?) 1 tbl fresh lemon juice 2 3-0z (that's "ounce", not "Oz", marc) pkgs cherry jello 1 12 oz can Dr. Pepper 1 c. chopped, toasted pecans canned asparagus ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. oil a 6 cup decorative mold. 2. drain the cherries and pineapple, reserving the juice. halve the cherries. 3. add the lemon juice to the fruit juice, and add H20 to make 2 cups. 4. bring the juice mix to a boil. 5. place the jello in a bowl, add the boiling liquid and stir well to dissolve. add the dr. pepper. 6. chill until syrupy (about 1 hr) 7. fold in the fruit and nuts. 8. pour into the mold and chill again for a few hours, until firm. 9. unmold and serve! don't forget the canned asparagus garnish!
