Sidney Hardie taught herself how to create web pages for the sole purpose of marketing the raffle tickets for the first Airedale Quilting Bee Quilt in 1999. Andrea Denninger created and hosted the actual quilt pages for the first quilt.
In 2000 Sidney compiled the
information for the article, "Is an Airedale the Right Breed for You?" and,
with the permission of Barbara Curtiss, then Chair of
ATCA Rescue committee. Sidney is currently the Southern Arizona Rescue Coordinator for Southwest Airedale Terrier (SWAT) Rescue, webmaster for the National Airedale Rescue, Inc., website, manages the National Airedale Rescue discussion lists, is webmaster for AiredaleTerriers.org (sadly neglected), created the web pages for the 2000 and 2001 quilts and has been host of every quilt since 2000. Because of time pressures and a hope that new eyes would come up with fresh ideas, she stepped back from actually creating the web pages for the quilts in 2002 and has watched with pride and admiration as other Airedalers have stepped up and created great websites to star the wonderful quilts. Sidney lives in Tucson, Arizona, with her three Airedales, Jack, Riley & Rose
