I raise Airedales in Calgary, Alberta. Besides breeding, I do a lot of showing and am starting to get quite interested in agility. My Airedale family circle is made up of Winston - 8 yrs, Chelsea, LaraJane - 3, and 2 young puppies, Striker and Reba.

My quilt square is designed by me with the help of my sister, Frances Mester, an Afghan Hound lover who lives in Edmonton. I usually come up with the initial idea and Fran simplifies it and does all the work. She is a wonderful seamstress and has lots of ideas.

My square depicts Chelsea, my foundation bitch chasing butterflies, one of her favorite passtimes as a puppy. Chelsea is a very happy dog and at 6 years old, still loves to chase butterflies and buzzing bees.
