Gena Welch Booher lives very happily outside Ocala, Florida with her
husband, Chuck, and their four Airedales Rita, Ellie, Trudy, and the puppy
Bellona. She is a middle-school geography teacher, and when she is not
herding either students or Airedales, she is out riding horses or serving
as "ListMom" for Airedale-L, an international community of people who are
smitten with Airedales. This block was stitched in memory of Clara Bear... she sits among wild phlox blossoms, which carpet the Ocala area for several weeks each spring. Clara was a whimsical one, whose shooting-star spirit and lion-like heart will live on always, in Chuck and Gena's hearts. |
