I'm Sara and live just outside Kansas City , Missouri with my
Airedale, Sophia and her five Miniature Schnauzers and Yorkshire Terrier
siblings. I've been involved with Airedale rescue, doing transports and
home visits and other odds and ends for about three years now. Each
involvement with a rescue is always an uplifting experience because I
know that I am playing a small part to help out a breed I love so much.
My hobbies include working with my dogs on tracking, obedience and soon, agility. I also enjoy going for walks with Sophi, working in my flower gardens and now, helping Airedale rescue out even more by doing some quilting! |
| I designed this quilt block in honor of my ‘underwear thief' girl, Sophi. As a puppy, no matter what hamper I put my dirty clothes in, Sophi's nose always found my underwear. She would work so hard and so adamantly on getting them, to the point of pulling them under doors and through hamper sides. There was no way I could not do a quilt block with underwear in Sophi's ‘jawsofdeath!' I like to call the quilt block, “Sophi's Secret.” |
