I have participated in the quilting bee since the beginning -
1998. This will be the sixth year that I am honored to be able to
contribute a block or two to help Airedale rescue like our Sam Airedale.
Since our last quilt project, Gracie, my husband and I have moved across the country from Wisconsin to Washington State . Gracie and I drove together "over the mountains." Gracie had never delt with altitude before and her ears "popped." Her quisical look was priceless. Gracie loves her new home with a huge back yard. I wanted another Airedale and about one month later we drove to Wyoming and were met by rescue Sam Airedale's foster family after their drive from Kansas City , Missouri . Sam came to live with us... Life has been very busy for all of us since. He is such a sweet boy. I am presently hoping to get my teaching license in WA so I can sub or work part - time after retiring from Milwaukee , WI . |

Christie Williams drew this
delightful depiction of Gracie helping in the kitchen, We used a photo
of Gracie with rawhide in her mouth (actually forbidden, which made it
even more delightful). I was amazed that after becoming a fabric spoon that it was identifiable. Again Christie's excellent drawing skills. |
