I live in Kitchener, Ontario with my husband Tim, and our two rescue 'dales Teddy & Trudi. Teddy came to us in Sept. 2002.  He's 8 years old, loves food, and needs to be part of everything that goes on.   Trudi  joined us in March 2003,  was shy and not used to being indoors.   Since then she's found her bark, learned to play, enjoys cuddling, and  is a wonderful foster sister to other dogs that pass through our home.  We love the outdoors, and enjoy hiking and camping with the dogs.  Although I've done some machine sewing and hand embroidery previously, I'd never attempted appliqué before.  So this past year I decided to try my hand at a quilt block.

I wanted to portray Teddy with a credit card getting ready to buy quilt tickets on-line. Teddy has a wonky right ear that sticks out to the side;  an endearing feature! Christie Williams provided the sketch and Jeri Langman used her magic sewing machine to create the credit card.  I used hand-appliqué to create "Teddy".
