My name is Jeanne Esmond . I live in Herndon, Virginia (suburb of Washington , DC ) I'm an office manager for a company that sells construction supplies. It has got to be the best job in the whole world, because, I get to bring my dog Roxie to work with me every day. I've told my boss no less than a 1000 times that having her w/me makes up for many job deficiencies! My girl Roxie is 12 1/2 . We had 2 parties for her 12th birthday, one here at work and one at home with my nieces. Roxie has slowed down quite a bit in the past two years but she still loves her walks (short these days) and she loves to meet new people, especially men. She loves the guys! I call her my fuzzy hussy! When she was younger, her favorite game was "I'm gunna get you". This game involves Roxie grabbing anything in her mouth and running away so that you could chase her. She still plays that game today and lucky for her she can still outrun me! This past year I joined the local Airedale Club (Airedale Terrier Club of Metropolitan Washington). I've had a lot of fun working with members of the group to raise funds for the Club and Airedale Rescue. I have donated 2 quilts and one pillow to were sold at Montgomery and a Christmas Wall quilt that was auctioned at the Airedale Square Oct 10th. I have been a quilter for about 10 years, a sewer for 45years!!! and an Airedaler for 12 years. I'm very excited to combine my two loves, Airedales and sewing for this good cause!
